Reports to Business Stream President. Responsible for developing, coordinating and directing the implementation of HSE programs and processes for company and the plant service group, a business stream that includes 1,100 employees. Assists in the expansion of market position through improvement in HSE performance within projects, and represents company interests to industry groups, governmental and non-governmental organizations on HSE issues.
Provide advice and guidance to line management to ensure compliance with all HSE standards and reporting requirements.
Must be commercially aware to balance the financial goals of the company with the external regulations required.
Is expected to interface with senior levels of the company as well as shareholders
provide management and professional development of HSE professionals within areas of responsibly.
Also provide HSE training needs of employees on a business stream basis.
Responsible for developing, coordinating and overseeing HSE strategies and processes.
Must have demonstrate knowledge of ISO standards and advanced knowledge of all OSHA rules and regulations.
Develop best in class HSE performance.
Ensure utilization of SYNERGI database and work with local HSE to make sure PEM/Risk dashboard contain information current.
Technical BS Degree, preferably Engineering
10+ years of E&C industry experience
Previous managerial experience required
Presentation skills and excellent interpersonal skills required.
Ability to demonstrate initiative and assertiveness, the ability to plan and mange work in an efficient manner and the ability to work well under stress and time pressures.
Domestic and International travel.
